The turban story

He wears a turban like you wear your shoes. People stare, no doubt. And why would they not- its different. With everything different comes the unnecessary but human need to scoff. But Sonu Yadav knows how to handle attention. The immense amount of ease with which he pulls it off would never give you a reason to guess the effort that goes into it.
The turban is a style that has been used extensively in Southeast Asia and parts of Africa. Its significance in Islam, Judaism, Rastafarianism, Christianity and Sikhism is rather important. It’s a kind of minor tragedy that we choose not to look upon it as an iconic element of fashion, because the truth is that with its versatile nature, the turban is nothing short of spectacular.
It’s a general misconception that you cannot wear it with your everyday casual wear (read the western denim & tees), and the aim of this story is to do away with any such prior notions. If you are one for reviving traditions, I suggest you try the turban; you will not be disappointed.
