END OF CLICHES: IN THE SPIRIT OF VALENTINES

Whoever said they had a loveless life were just looking at all the wrong places.

Why does the definition of love end at a lover?

The ambitions, the desires and the passion of true love is somehow always presented in the form of a cliché- lovers, madly in love.

So is valentine’s day.

A 3rd century roman saint is somehow forgotten and all that remains is materialistic love we neither understand nor survive.

For all we know, it could all be a myth. Fiction. And so could be the foundations of a day that is so vividly associated with romance.

But why lose hope over fiction.
We choose love.

Not just the cliches which set your heart  fluttering but the very unidentified, unacknowledged territories, the ones which stay with you for life.

You don’t know it just yet.

So hug that friend. Call your mother. Don’t hold back. Celebrate it. Not just today; every single day. Because a single day is too little for all the love.
Don’t you think?
