Going hippie.

 During the 1960’s ,aspects of the Beat movement metamorphosed  into the counterculture of the 1960’s, accompanied by a shift in terminology from “beatnik” to“hippie”.

There were stylistic differences between both; dark and somber moods gave way to color and psychedelia.

The hippies came with a bang: carefree, peaceful, and unconventional-not a care in the world. How they came however is a story skipped too often. Showcasing the change of a beat generation man to that of a hippie.

This is a story of transition.
