The fourth season of the British male fashion week was
nothing short of exemplary. With power packed shows from Burberry, Tom Ford,
Christopher Kane and Alexander Mcqueen to name a few, the London Collections
proved to be a good watch.
splinter prints, floral jacquards and botanical prints
adorned the runway, as did bangs of color, sportswear inspired streetwear,
pastel shades, two-tone shoes, suede monk straps, Argyll sweaters, embroidered
skirts, leather in plenty, bomber jackets and sweatshirts.
There was seen a push in gender boundaries, with designers
like JW Anderson and KTZ edging towards halter tops and printed skirts in their
collections.
Floral prints and pastel pink with a chalky undertone
emerged as the front runners this season, as did power dressing.
