The roads of Bangalore were quiet when we reached. Serene and calm. When two days is all you have to roam around a city as cool as this one, you are bound to fall short of time. A lot of time!
But we made out the best of what we had. And fun it was!
A nice auto ride, and a breakfast of coffee and donuts is what makes your Saturday morning fulfilling, if you are up, that is. The Starbucks on Brigade road is not only perfect for a cuppa, but for hanging out too.
A little wandering on Commercial Street and Brigade Road helped us with our shopping demons and the photography ones as well. Any amount of "stuff" written about the bunch of Cafes in this area will be less, so lets just say, Go and Wander around; you will not be disappointed.
The Fisherman's Wharf is a place for Sunday brunch. The ambience and everything that has been put up out and around makes the place as good as it is.
There is a lot of ancient architecture to be covered around too, in case you are interested.
We caught some of it, between breweries and Taco Bell trips.
The highlight of the Kormangla Area however had to be this amazingly insane place. Cafe Thulp is one of those places which blows your mind away. Figuratively!
There are quirky menu covers, weird names on the menu, cool pictures and books!
The bacon they serve is to die for, and everything else we say will just not sum up to this heavenly place, so just go, and try the BACON!
And that , Ladies and Gentlemen, is how a burger disappears!!
This was the smallest possible area covered, but then again, there is only so much you can hope to do in 2 days. Until later!
